Heading back to SF to find an apartment after 10 days in Louisville. So the hunt begins!
The iPhone 7 takes some awesome shots. Big difference from the iPhone 6.
Trying out standing more than sitting during the day. So far the (very homemade) standing desk is going great; good height, good location, plants!
Relaxing weekend in the Haight.
After a few days, all settled. Excited to be back in the Haight!
Time travel. Been awake going on 24 hours and it's still Tuesday. Hello, San Francisco!
Had an awesome day being a tourist around London today, walking down the river by the Tate Modern to the Shard for lunch.
Was a great day roaming about London today. And I took my first bus ride—better late than never.
Laid back, relaxing Wednesday. Watched an awesome movie (Eddie the Eagle) and made curry.
In other news, black and white is really fun to work with!
Caught an amazing moon this evening on the walk back from a day in Covent Garden. Was amazing seeing the city so lit at night.
It took a couple months of being in London, but today I (finally) made it to Buckingham Palace and Horse Guards. Was an amazing, not-too-rainy day seeing London before heading to Halfway to Heaven to wrap it up.
Relaxing rainy Saturday: pancakes in the morning, pasta bake in the evening.
What a day yesterday; coworking with the Support Driven Londoners in the morning, relocating to Covent Garden in the afternoon and then attending an event at WeWork in the evening.
So excited about this camera. After owning it for a few months now, it's without the best camera I've owned thus far (for me). Between the image quality and compact size, it's perfect for daily shots.
Was so fun seeing Rose Garden tonight at Halfway. Just what I've always wanted.
Excited for a weekend back in London! Hoping to be able to explore some new areas, enjoy a brunch (or two) and enjoy this fall weather that's finally arrived.
As this journal probably makes obvious, my goal today is to post a photo each day. It turns out, taking a quality picture each day is quite a challenge—and going against the whole point of the exercise. The goal has been (and remains) to log each day through photographs as well as to learn to take better pictures regardless of location. I think this means I need to work to accept some days will have awesome photos, while other days might have less-than-ideal ones. And that's okay.
